Dear Portsmouth Citizens:

On behalf of the Portsmouth Republican Town Committee and the successful town Republican candidates I want to express our deepest and sincerest thank you for placing your trust and confidence in a Republican Town Council majority.  The present economic times paint a bleak picture of things to come and what concerns the new Town Council will be facing in the next 2 years.  If ever there was a time for all citizens of Portsmouth to be united, it is now.
